Reflections on the Summer of 2010

For all intensive purposes, it's the end of summer for us. Madi starts the 2-year old preschool class on Monday and for us that means no more summer!

Check out what we did in the summer of 2009 here.

2010 Recap

We spent Memorial Day weekend at a local hotel and checked out the airport.

We hung out alot at home

We went to the lake with our friends.

We had our 2nd annual Pancho's lunch with Aunt Candice.

We celebrated Madi's 2nd birthday with an Elmo themed party. All our friends and family attended.

We brought home our golden retriever, Corn Bread!

We swam some more.

I took a quick tour of Providence, RI.

In Providence, I ate lots of these from my favorite coffee shop.

We baked cookies together.

We took a work/vacation to San Juan. Madi got to take her first airplane ride, see the beach, swim in the pools and tour Old San Juan.

We came home from San Juan and decided it was time for Madi to get her first haircut. She did so well sitting in my lap and then letting the dresser even it out while she played.

We enjoyed yogurt after Madi's last day of summer classes before "transition" week began.

And finally, last night we celebrated with our friends at the annual "Back to School Bash" while Madi had a sleep-over at Pop Pop's & Gi's.

Hil and I have a thousand pics like this and we love every single one!

We've had tons of un-photographed events....dinners with friends, visits from our family, a trip weekend at the cottage, meeting new friends, playgroups, girls nights out, swimming, swimming and more swimming.

It's sad to see another summer end, but I'm happy to know it was another good one to remember.
