See the world through the eyes of a child.
I will be grateful that I get to see the world through Little M’s eyes on a daily basis! How lucky I am! I am constantly amazed at how I view the world around me so differently now that I am a mother.
For my entire life (minus the four years I was in Canada) I have lived near the airport. The sounds of planes landing and taking off is background noise to my daily life. Honestly, until a few weeks ago, I seldom even notice the planes in the sky anymore. One day Matt pointed out a plane to Little M, he taught her to say “plane” and point to it in the sky. Now, a thousand times a day, when she hears a plane she looks up, points, and says “plane”. She can even hear them when we’re in the house, she still points and says “plane”. It’s so funny and has taught me how significant the small things to me are to Little M.
